Hey, Family Man

I know what you’re thinking: "what a pervert", "what a sick-o". I see the way you turn your little boy and girl the other way so they don’t see this place. But, before we part from each other’s view, I want you to go away knowing more about me, more than just "he went into a gay sex house".

I don’t know why I want to tell you this. You probably don’t even care. But maybe, if you see there’s more to me than meets the eye, in the future, you’ll be less-quick to judge other men you see entering this place.

Did you know that I am loved? Yes! I have a wonderful mom and a beautiful sister. We have dinner together two nights a week and we’re very close. Their love for me is real and I love them back. But there’s this VOID that keeps pulling me back to this sex house.

Did you know that I love God? It’s true. Even in my most desperate and darkest times, I know He is with me. He has changed my life in so many ways and He has rescued me from countless catastrophes, that I don’t know where I’d be without Him. I believe the messages in my Bible and I experience a calming peace when I obey God and love others who are in need. But there’s this VOID that keeps pulling me back to this sex house.

Did you know I hold a college degree? Or that I fought for our country in the Gulf War? Did you know my hero is Martin Luther King, Jr., my favorite color is green and my number-one food is Chinese? Did you know I still mourn over my friend who died long ago? Did you know that I’ve laughed, loved and cried, just like you?

I envy you. You look so content and fulfilled just sharing the day with your family…while I have this VOID that keeps pulling me back to this sex house.

Oh, how I envy you. Whoever you are.
